  Lucknow, December 11 : A volley of talents was witnessed at the International Science Festival ‘Quanta 2021’ organized by CMS Chowk Campus today as students of Brazil, Russia, Finland, Jordan, Bangladesh and various Indian states plunged into serious competition   at the Mental Ability Quiz and the exciting Mathematics Quiz on the second day of the Festival. It was heartening to witness this overflow of talent and look forward to a promising future for mankind with such leadership ahead. It is worth mentioning that uptil now, 40 countries of the world have participated in the Quanta Science Festival, this being the 25th consecutive year.             Today, there was keen competition in the Mental Ability and Mathematics Quiz among the teams from India and abroad.   Lucknow, December 10 : The three-day International Science Olympiad, ‘Quanta-2021’ was inaugurated online today by Shri Suresh Kumar Khanna, Finance Minister, UP. Addressing the audience on the occasion, Shri Khanna said that Science should be used for welfare of humanity and for this to happen, it is important to have scientists and inventors who wish to put their inventions to good use for betterment of humanity.   Lucknow, December 9 : The three-day International Environment Olympiad, ‘IEO-2021’ being organized by City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II was inaugurated here today by Shri Swami Prasad Maurya, Labour Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh in the midst of scintillating educational-cultural programmes.   Lucknow, December 8 : Sakshi Chaudhary, a student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II has secured scholarship worth Rs 4 lakh from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Sakshi has been offered this scholarship to pursue higher education in Science under which she will receive Rs 80,000 per year for five years, and thus a total of Rs. four lakh. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma informed that Sakshi secured this prestigious scholarship by figuring in the top 1% merit list in the country on the basis of her ISC (Class 12) percentage marks.   Lucknow, December 7:  Vyom Ahuja, a class 8 student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I added another feather to his cap by entering the India Book of Records for the 29th time showcasing his extraordinary intellect and talent at a young age of 11 years 10 months. Vyom has achieved this feat by becoming the ‘Fastest child to solve Brainvita game’ under India Book of Records 2022. His citation by the India Book of Records read, ‘The record for being the fastest to solve the Brainvita game was set by Vyom (born on December 30, 2009) of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He completed the game in just 24 seconds and 89 milliseconds at the age of 11 years and 10 months’.
