Participants give message of environment protection through various competitions


 Lucknow, December 10 : The second day of the three-day International Environment Olympiad, IEO-2021, being organized by City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar extension campus saw young participants from Vietnam, UK, Germany, Iran, Ireland, UAE, Qatar, USA, Australia and different parts of India unveiling the beauty of nature and giving a strong message for conservation of environment through various informative and interesting competitions. Students from India and abroad showcased their talents through participation in a variety of events like Play Doh Play (Clay Modelling), Regalia (Fancy Dress), Maquillage (Face Painting), Birdie Bistro (Making a bird feeder), Recycle for Life Cycle (Model Making), The Hue Story (Digital Art), Birds of Paradise (Poem Recitation), Mystical Steps (Choreography), Aquades (3-D Modelling), Mysteries of Nature (Environment Quiz), Imagineering my Future (Re-Designing the Globe), Website Design, Shutter and Quill (Photography), Winds of Change (Future Friendly School) etc.

            In the series of competitions held today, The Hue Story (Digital Art) competition drew significant attraction from the audience. Participants presented a beautiful view of various shades of nature using MS Tux Paint software. Similarly, the Birds of Paradise (poem recitation) competition brought the creative talents of the participants to the fore wherein they took the audience on a tour to the world of birds through their innovative songs and poems. In the Aquades (3D Designing) competition, students showcased their technical knowledge, while they displayed their innovative skills in the Imagineering My Future (Redesigning the Globe) competition wherein they made eco-friendly and socially useful models on the topic, ‘Digitalization and Modernization of India’.

            CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Shri Hari Om Sharma informed that this International Environment Olympiad will conclude tomorrow, on Saturday, 11th December with the prize distribution ceremony at 3.00 pm. The winning participants from various participating countries will be awarded online. Before this, in the morning session to be held from 9 am onwards, the final round of Mysteries of Nature (Environment Quiz) will be conducted online.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum. CMS teachers honoured with Gold Medals at International Teachers Olympiad

Lucknow, February 10 : Four teachers of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II, namely Ms. Shweta Pathania Mishra, Ms. Tanushree Rastogi, Ms. Deepti Mehrotra, and Ms. Ritu Gupta have been awarded Gold Medals and Certificates of Proficiency for their exceptional teaching skills and professional excellence. These CMS teachers achieved this distinction based on their outstanding performance in the International CREST Teacher Olympiad. This information was given by Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS. Mr. Khanna informed that Ms. Shweta Pathania Mishra of CMS Aliganj Campus II scored a perfect 100% marks in the CREST Teacher Mathematics Olympiad, earning a gold medal.
