Participants of various countries show outstanding ability in Mathematics and Mental Ability Quiz


 

Lucknow, December 11 : A volley of talents was witnessed at the International Science Festival ‘Quanta 2021’ organized by CMS Chowk Campus today as students of Brazil, Russia, Finland, Jordan, Bangladesh and various Indian states plunged into serious competition  at the Mental Ability Quiz and the exciting Mathematics Quiz on the second day of the Festival. It was heartening to witness this overflow of talent and look forward to a promising future for mankind with such leadership ahead. It is worth mentioning that uptil now, 40 countries of the world have participated in the Quanta Science Festival, this being the 25th consecutive year.

            Today, there was keen competition in the Mental Ability and Mathematics Quiz among the teams from India and abroad. The competitions took place in two steps-the written qualifying test and the final oral quizzing test. The final round had two contestants in each team and it was amazing to witness the spontaneity and alacrity with which the questions were answered in the oral, visual and rapid fire rounds. Questions ranged from subject knowledge of senior secondary level to practical wisdom, reasoning and logical ability. Viewers clapped heartily when the students gave some difficult questions effortlessly showing great mental ability. The live Speech Contest held today was another enlightening fixture at Quanta today.     

            Chief Public Relations Officer, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that tomorrow on Sunday, 12th December, Quants will come to a grand conclusion with an online closing and prize distribution ceremony. Winners will be felicitated and given prizes online.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
