Lucknow, December 31 : A 23-day International Children’s Camp has commenced under the aegis of City Montessori School, where young delegates from 7 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, and India, are living together under one roof, bringing to life the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The World is One Family). This camp, being held from 27 December 2024 to 18 January 2025, features delegations of four children aged 11 to 12 years from each participating country, accompanied by their group leaders. Additionally, junior counselors aged 16 to 17 years are also participating to ensure smooth organization and effective communication among the students. Lucknow, 27 December : Aryama Shukla, a 9-year-old student of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II, was honoured with the prestigious ‘World Record of Excellence’ in a grand felicitation ceremony for her extraordinary memory and profound knowledge of scriptures. Lucknow, 26 December : The inauguration and demonstration of the Automated External Defibrillation (AED) machine were successfully held today at the City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Extension Campus auditorium. On this occasion, Prof. Aditya Kapoor, Head of the Cardiology Department at SGPGI, Lucknow, inaugurated the AED machine and provided comprehensive insights into its purpose, usage, and operation. While demonstrating the AED machine, Dr. Kapoor emphasized that it is a lifesaving device for heart attack patients. Cardiac arrest can occur at any time, regardless of age. In such cases, the AED machine proves highly effective in saving lives. Dr. Kapoor suggested that installing this machine in schools, offices, malls, railway stations, airports, and other public places would be extremely beneficial.
