CMS student wins gold inInternational Mathematics Olympiad

Lucknow, 31 July : Arslaan Sheikh, a Class II student of City Montessori School, Indira Nagar Campus I brought laurels to the institution by winning a Gold medal in the International Mathematics Olympiad organised by Science Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi. This information has come from the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna informed that students from several countries participated in this prestigious Olympiad wherein amidst a tough competition, Arslaan bagged the gold, displaying his acumen in solving difficult mathematical problems.   Lucknow, 30 July: The 5-day India International Mathematics Competition (InIMC-2024) organized by City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I concluded today with a grand educational-cultural cum prize distribution ceremony held at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. In Junior category, the student team from the USA won the Championship trophy while teams from Bulgaria and Taiwan were declared the first and second Runners Up respectively. Highest number of 133 CMS students qualify; 14 students score above 700 marks

Lucknow, 29 July : Harshita Tripathi, a brilliant student of City Montessori School has made Lucknow proud by scoring 800 out of 800 marks in the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET-UG 2024), while 14 CMS students have excelled securing above 700 marks. In this prestigious examination, 133 CMS students have achieved success while 12 students have scored 100% marks in different subjects. Lucknow, July 26 : The 5-day India International Mathematics Competition (InIMC 2024) will be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Governor of UP, Smt Anandiben Patel on 27th July, at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium at 5.00 pm in the evening tomorrow. Government of India to award Rs 92 lakh scholarship to 23 CMS students

Lucknow, July 25 : Twenty three brilliant students of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs 92 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. These students have been offered this scholarship to pursue higher education in Sciences (Basic and Natural Science) under which each student will receive Rs 80,000 per year for five years, totalling of Rs. 4 lakh each. Thus, all the 23 students will be awarded scholarship worth Rs. 92 lakhs. They secured this prestigious scholarship by figuring in the top 1% merit list in this year's All India ISC (Class XII) Board Examinations.
