Team USA wins championships in both categories


 

Lucknow, 30 July: The 5-day India International Mathematics Competition (InIMC-2024) organized by City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I concluded today with a grand educational-cultural cum prize distribution ceremony held at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. In Junior category, the student team from the USA won the Championship trophy while teams from Bulgaria and Taiwan were declared the first and second Runners Up respectively. In Senior category as well, the USA team grabbed the Championship with the Indian team being declared the Runner-up. The Chief Guest, Lt. Col. Prashant Kumar Singh, Deputy Director General, UIDAI, inaugurated the closing ceremony by lighting the lamp of learning and awarded prizes to the winners. Addressing the gathering of students, team leaders, and mathematics experts on this occasion, the Chief Guest, Lt. Col. Prashant Kumar Singh commended CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I for providing this unique platform to budding mathematicians from around the world to showcase their talents. He appealed to young mathematicians to utilize their energy for social upliftment and welfare of humanity.

            CMS Manager, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon motivated the participants with her speech and said that each participant is a winner in the sense that every one has learnt something new here. She expressed her happiness that the children assembled here are thinking of making the world one big family. While wishing all the participating students a bright future, the Convenor of InIMC-2024 and Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Mrs Abha Anant said that this function has played an important role in enhancing the knowledge of the children as well as in making them sensitive citizens of the society and the world.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
