Hon'ble Governor blessed CMS Student

Lucknow, January 31 : Aryama Shukla, a 9-year-old student of Class 4 from City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II, has been honoured by the Department of Culture, UP, for her extraordinary memory, deep knowledge of religious scriptures and exceptional dedication to the Sanskrit language. On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, Hon'ble Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel blessed Aryama in a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan and highly praised her unique talent. On this occasion, the Hon'ble Governor honoured Aryama by presenting her a certificate, a cash prize of Rs. 51,000 and an honorary stole by the Uttar Pradesh Department of Culture.  CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi, congratulated Aryama on this remarkable achievement and wished her a bright future. Prof. Kingdon also expressed gratitude to the school's principal and teachers for their support. This information was given by Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS. Mr. Khanna further informed that Aryama has received several accolades at a young age for her multifaceted talents. Recently, she was also honoured with the ‘World Record of Excellence’.

            Mr. Khanna further stated that the 9-year-old CMS student Aryama Shukla has brought pride to Lucknow on a global level through her knowledge of the Sanskrit language, extraordinary memory, and proficiency in reciting religious scriptures. At just nine years old, Aryama has memorized all 700 verses of the 18 chapters of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, which she can recite in just two hours. Apart from the Gita, Aryama has also memorized the Shri Ram Sahasranama, Mahishasura Mardini Stotram, Shiv Tandav, and many other Sanskrit hymns. The most remarkable aspect is that Aryama is not only proficient in reciting these sacred verses but also has a deep understanding of their meanings. She learns and memorizes these Sanskrit verses just by listening to them. On the whole, Aryama has emerged as a scholar par excellence, a role model for several young and aspiring students seeking spiritual progress and lifelong values.

Advik of CMS bags two gold medals in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II,  brought name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000 athletes from across the country participated.
