Parents overwhelmed witnessing the sports talents of students

Lucknow, 14 December : The grand ‘Annual Sports Day’ organized by City Montessori School, Asharfabad Campus, concluded today on a vibrant note in the school premises. The tiny tots from Pre-Primary and Primary sections captivated the audience with their extraordinary athletic talent and energetic physical fitness activities, conveying the message 'India Fit and Young'. The Laxman Award winner Mr. Umesh Prasad and renowned athlete Mr. Yashpal Chaudhary elevated the event’s stature as they motivated the young children with their encouraging presence.The sports ceremony commenced with the School Prayer, followed by an intense competition among students in various events as they showcased their strength, energy, and skills. The Kindergarten students demonstrated their abilities through the Caterpillar Race, while Class 1 students displayed their talent in Drill Presentation and Balloon Race. Similarly, Class 2 students performed Zumba, Aerobics, and the Pyramid Race. Students of Class 3 participated in the Basket Fun Race, Class 4 students excelled in the Duck Race, and Class 5 students showcased their agility in the Bridge Race. The ceremony concluded with a prize distribution, promoting a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie among students. Winning students were awarded certificates, medals, and shields as tokens of recognition and appreciation for their efforts.On this occasion, Principal of CMS Asharfabad, Mrs. Anupama Chekar, emphasized that physical development is crucial for students’ intellectual growth, which is achievable through sports. She added that such events inspire students to foster teamwork, build self-confidence, and pursue excellence in life.

Advik of CMS bags two gold medals in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II,  brought name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000 athletes from across the country participated.
