Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya to welcome Chief Justices and Judges from 56 countries arriving in Lucknow today

Lucknow, 20 November : Chief Justices, Judges, legal luminaries and eminent personalities from 56 countries, including Presidents, Prime Ministers, Speakers of Parliaments, Parliamentarians and Judges of the International Court of Justice, will grace the historic '25th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World' organized by City Montessori School (CMS). These dignitaries are scheduled to arrive at CMS Rajajipuram Campus I tomorrow, Thursday, 21 November, at 7.00 pm. Chief Guest of the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Mr Keshav Prasad Maurya will formally welcome the distinguished guests from across the world. Mr Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS, informed.

                Mr Khanna informed that the first session of the International Chief Justices’ Conference was held today at the Constitution Club in New Delhi, inaugurated by the Union Minister of State for Law and Justice, Mr Arjun Ram Meghwal. The Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Mr Jitin Prasada, graced the event as the Guest of Honour. In his speech delivered on this occasion, the Chief Guest, Mr Meghwal, praised City Montessori School for its commendable role in fostering world unity, and peace, for a brighter future for the younger generation. The Guest of Honour, Mr Jitin Prasada, said that the Chief Justices’ Conference would prove to be a significant step toward global unity and peace.

                Mr Khanna also informed that before the first session of the conference, legal experts, jurists, and other eminent personalities from across the globe paid their respects at the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in New Delhi today, 20 November. They also attended a high tea reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 4.00 pm and a dinner hosted in their honour at the Lotus Temple at 6.30 pm. Here, Union Minister of State for Finance Mr Pankaj Chaudhary interacted with the visiting dignitaries and held a detailed discussion on the objectives of the conference.. These distinguished guests will depart for Agra on the morning of Thursday, 21 November, to visit the Taj Mahal and will arrive in Lucknow at 7.00 pm the same evening where they will be accorded a grand welcome with traditional band music and floral garlands. CMS Rajajipuram Campus I will also host a ‘Dandiya Night’ in their honour.

Advik of CMS bags two gold medals in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II,  brought name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000 athletes from across the country participated.
