Government of India to award Rs 4 lakh scholarship each to three CMS students


 

Lucknow, 4 October : Three meritorious students of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus namely Akshat Dwivedi, Pranam Goyal and Shaurya Jaiswal have secured Rs 4 lakh scholarship each from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. This scholarship will be provided to these students for higher education in science, under which each one will be getting an scholarship of Rs. 80,000/- for five years; i.e. a total of Rupees four lakh. This information has come from Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communication Department of CMS. He added that these CMS students secured this prestigious scholarship by figuring in the top 1% merit list in the country based on their ISC (Class 12) percentage marks this year. Apart from the support and motivation of their parents and teachers, these meritorious students of CMS acredit their success to the educational atmosphere of the school.CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon congratulated these students and wished them a bright future ahead. Prof. Kingdon express her gratitude towards Principals and teachers of CMS who encourage students to be ambitious and set lofty goals, and then provide strong academic and socio-emotional support to them.

Advik of CMS bags two gold medals in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II,  brought name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000 athletes from across the country participated. CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
