CMS students take out grand march calling for Character-Building Education


 Lucknow, 5 August: Thousands of students of City Montessori School took out a huge 'Character Building March' today spreading the message of character building and moral values. The march, led by CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, Principals of all CMS Campuses, and many distinguished personalities from different walks of life inspired the massive sea of students to live up to the high ideals of the institution. The March which began early this morning at Maqdoompur Police Station at Gomti Nagar Extension culminated at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium, where a grand 'Meritorious Students Felicitation Function was organised to honour the meritorious CMS students who had created new records in the field of academics.

            At this function, CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon encouraged the brilliant students of the school with a very encouraging speech. She said that the National Education Policy 2020 has introduced numerous positive changes in the educational landscape. In today’s competitive environment, a thorough understanding of subjects is essential. Examinations like NEET, JEE, and CLAT assess students’ knowledge and skills at a deep level. She expressed her appreciation for the efforts of CMS teachers, who are dedicated to equipping students for the challenges of the modern world. As a result, CMS students are continually elevating the pride of Lucknow in various national and international competitions. On this occasion, Justice Adel Omar Sherif from Egypt, thinker Mr. David Risley from USA, and educationist and founder of Scholars Den Mr. Vivek Thakur also boosted the morale of the students with their meaningful speeches. A special highlight of the ceremony was the inspiring speech by CUET-2024 topper Harshita Tripathi from CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus, who shared her academic success and motivated her peers to strive for greater achievements. Earlier, Ms. Sushmita Ghose, Superior Principal and Head of CMS Quality Education and Innovation Department, warmly welcomed the outstanding students and teachers to the function.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
