DEVI Sansthan empowers 1500 government primary teachers collaborative effort to achieve key NIPUN Bharat goals

Lucknow, July 12 : The four-day Teacher Empowerment Program - ALfA FLN (Accelerated Learning for All) conducted by DEVI Sansthan in the guidance of renowned educationist and Founder of DEVI Sansthan, Dr Sunita Gandhi, from July 9 to July 12, 2024 concluded here today at City Montessori School, Kanpur Road auditorium. Chief Guest, Mr M.K. Shanmuga Sundaram, IAS, Principal Secretary, Education, UP inaugurated the fourth and final day of the workshop by lighting the auspicious lamp of learning while Shri Awanish Awasthi, IAS (Retd.), Chief Advisor, Chief Minister, UP and CMS Founder-Director Dr. Bharti Gandhi graced the function as the Special Guests of Honour. Addressing the gathering of teachers of this occasion, the Chief Guest, Mr M.K. Shanmuga Sundaram, IAS, said that innovative methods like ALfA play a critical role in enhancing the quality of education and help in achieving the NIPUN Bharat goals. This initiative will surely be a milestone in spreading literacy among children. Special Guest of Honour, Shri Awanish Awasthi, IAS, said that the government is committed to supporting innovative educational initiatives like ALfA. Renowned educationist Dr. Bharti Gandhi, Founder-Director of City Montessori School, said that the ALfA Project plays an important role in making education simple, interesting and effective for children.It has been successfully applied in various schools in India.

            The ALfA FLN Teacher Empowerment Training Program concluded with a renewed sense of commitment and enthusiasm among the teachers. This event not only provided them with valuable ALfA tools and techniques but also reinforced the importance of their role as galvanizer in shaping the future of education in Uttar Pradesh. The training program was designed to ensure maximum involvement of teachers in each activity, fostering a practical understanding of the ALfA pedagogy.

            Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Founder of DEVI Sansthan, Dr. Sunita Gandhi said that implementing ALfA learning by Government primary schools in Uttar Pradesh is a step towards nurturing and accelerating the learning capacity of young minds. With such regular programs, we hope to empower more teachers from other parts of the country.

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
