CMS students and teachers resolve to go all out for environmental protection

Lucknow, July 15 : Students and teachers of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I took firm resolve to work towards environmental conservation and inspired the public in this direction through a skit, educational-cultural items and tree plantation drive.   Dr Heera Lal Patel, IAS, Special Secretary, Irrigation, U.P. formally inaugurated the programme at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I auditorium as the Chief Guest. The highlight of the programme was the dialogue between the students and Dr Heera Lal. The students had a lively interaction and interview with the renowned environmental expert. CMS student Manan Tripathi interviewed Dr Heera Lal and discussed his life and contribution to saving the earth and its resources for the benefit of mankind.

                On this occasion, the students of CMS Eco Club made presentations on environmental protection, water conservation, measures for preventing plastic pollution etc for creating an awareness among the people on various urgent problems of this kind. Through the Nukkad Naatak, the students spread the message that The Earth is our Mother and we must take care of it, Life on earth is not possible without the existence of flora and fauna, both domestic and wild. The powerful Nukkad Naatak enactment on Environmental Protection, won the hearts of the viewers with its lively expression, interactive and humorous display of emotion and the powerful message of saving trees, environment and preventing air and soil pollution.  Through this effective way of spreading the message of environmental conservation, the students exhibited great confidence, dramatic skills, and conviction and won the hearts of the viewers. Besides this, they also planted trees on their Campus with great enthusiasm.

                Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Mrs Abha Anant said that as we dream of material and spiritual progress, similarly we must also dream of a clean and green earth and taking care of our environment. She said that CMS is a unique organization which is concerned about the health and safety of the future generation so that it breathes fresh air and enjoys a clean and green earth in future.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
