CMS student grabs 4 medals including a gold in District Aquatics Championship

Lucknow, 8 July : Krishna Dubey , a talented Class IX student of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I brought laurels to the institution by winning 4 medals including a gold , a silver and two bronze medals in Lucknow District Sub-Junior and Junior Aquatic Championship-2024. In this championship, Krishna Dubey has displayed his swimming talent by winning a gold in 400 m freestyle competition and a silver in 400 m individual medley. He has also won two bronze medals in 200 m butterfly and 200 m freestyle events. The championship was organized by the Lucknow Amateur Aquatic Association at the swimming pool of Sports Authority of India, Kanpur Road, Lucknow. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon while appreciating the swimming performance of this talented student, wished him a very bright future ahead.                Mr Khanna further stated that CMS students are creating new milestones in the field of games and sports besides the field of academics at national and international level. This is because CMS prepares the students in sports and games through regular training by expert coaches at all CMS campuses. The institution believes that the school playground is the best training ground for students, empowering them with self-confidence, universal values, good sportsmanship and the determination to succeed in life.

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
