June 28: Achalpreet Kaur, a brilliant student of City Montessori School, Kanpur
Road Campus has been awarded a coveted scholarship of US$ 80,000 by Lynn
University of USA, bringing laurels to the school. Achalpreet will be receiving
the scholarship amount during the course of four years of her studies at the
university. She has given credit for her outstanding achievement to the
positive environment of the school and the high level of education at CMS. CMS
Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon has expressed her joy and congratulated this
exceptionally bright student for her achievement. This information was given by
the Public Relations Officer of City Montessori School, Mr Rishi Khanna.
Mr Khanna stated that CMS is also a SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test
centre, which enables students of UP and the neighbouring states to apply for
higher studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships.
Mr Khanna further informed that each
year, a large number of CMS students receive admission offers from top
universities in the world including Ivy League universities. This year, until
now, over 90 CMS students have secured admissions on handsome scholarships in
some of the best universities of USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore,
and Germany like Cambridge University, California Institute of Technology
(CalTech), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University,
Cornell University, Melbourne University, National University of Singapore and
others.
