Lucknow June 20: Vikrant Singh, a brilliant student of City Montessori
School, Gomti Nagar Campus I has been awarded a scholarship of US$ 87,600 by
Drexel University of USA, bringing laurels to the school. Vikrant will be
receiving the scholarship amount during the course of four years of his higher
studies at the university. He has given credit for his outstanding achievement
to the positive environment of the school and the high level of education at
CMS. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon has expressed happiness and
congratulated this exceptionally bright student for his achievement. Mr Khanna
stated that CMS is also a SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test centre,
which enables students of UP and the neighbouring states to apply for higher
studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships.
Mr Khanna further informed that each year, a
large number of CMS students receive admission offers from top universities in
the world including Ivy League universities. This year, until now, over 80 CMS
students have secured admissions on handsome scholarships in some of the best
universities of USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Germany like
Cambridge University, California Institute of Technology (CalTech),
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University, Cornell
University, Melbourne University, National University of Singapore and others.
