Government of India scholarship of Rs 4 lakh each to three CMS students

Lucknow, 15 June: Three students of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Extension Campus, Shivendra Pratap Singh, Shreya Srivastava and Samarth Raghuvanshi will be awarded a scholarship of Rs 4 lakh each by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. This scholarship is provided to students for higher education in Science, where each student receives scholarship amount of Rs. 80,000/- for five years amounting to a total of Rs four lakh. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon congratulated these students and wished them a bright future ahead. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna, Mr Khanna further stated that these meritorious CMS students have won the scholarship by figuring among the top 1% students at All India level in the ISC (Class XII) merit list as per their aggregate percentage of marks. Apart from the support and motivation of their parents and teachers, these students give credit for their success to the peaceful educational atmosphere of the school.CMS Manager, Dr Geeta Gandhi Kingdon expressed her gratitude towards the Senior Principal Ms M. Batra, Principal Ms Sangeeta Banerji and the teachers of CMS for encouraging the students to come forward and realize their goals in life.

Advik of CMS bags two gold medals in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II,  brought name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000 athletes from across the country participated.
