CMS students secure High Distinction in International Benchmark Test

Lucknow, June 26 : Three meritorious students of Class V of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I namely Samriddhi Srivastava, Rohit Kumar and Aarav Sinha have been honoured and awarded Medals and Certificates of ‘High Distinction’ for their outstanding performance in International Benchmark Test (IBT), thus bringing fame to the city of Lucknow in the international arena. In this international competition, Samridhi has achieved this feat by scoring more than 95 percent marks in English while Rohit and Aarav have scored more than 95 percent marks in Mathematics and Science. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon has wished a very bright future to these gems of CMS. This information was given by Mr Rishi Khanna, Public Relations Officer of CMS. He informed that this competition was organized under the aegis of Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) at the international level in which students of various countries participated.

            Shri Khanna informed that the International Benchmark Test (IBT) conducted under the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), an official partner of UNESCO, is an internationally administered programme of assessments to compare student performance globally. The IBT tests are skill-based and do not follow any single national curriculum allowing students from all countries to be compared fairly. CMS is constantly engaged in enhancing students' self-confidence and developing their overall personality by encouraging them to participate in various creative competitions. It is due to these efforts that CMS students are constantly bringing laurels to the school at national as well as international level.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum. CMS teachers honoured with Gold Medals at International Teachers Olympiad

Lucknow, February 10 : Four teachers of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II, namely Ms. Shweta Pathania Mishra, Ms. Tanushree Rastogi, Ms. Deepti Mehrotra, and Ms. Ritu Gupta have been awarded Gold Medals and Certificates of Proficiency for their exceptional teaching skills and professional excellence. These CMS teachers achieved this distinction based on their outstanding performance in the International CREST Teacher Olympiad.
