Honours accorded to Pt. Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’ as he bids an emotional farewell to CMS

Lucknow, May 31 : After 50 long years of service to City Montessori School, Lucknow, Pandit Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’ finally bid farewell to the institution leaving with great pride and honour here today. On this occasion, the CMS Management and Staff organized an Honouring Ceremony for this Pillar of the Institution who had devoted his entire working life in the service of the school. The entire CMS Head Office staff was present and they garlanded him profusely recalling their long association with Pandit Hari Om Sharma. CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi and CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon were graciously present at the Honouring Ceremony along with the official and administrative staff at the CMS Headquarters.

            Expressing his thoughts on the occasion, Pandit Hari Om Sharma said that CMS has been, for him, not only a workplace but also a learning platform wherein he has learnt continuously from his mentors, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr Bharti Gandhi who had chiseled his personality with their affection and words of wisdom. “I have been extremely fortunate to have got such noble teachers under whose patronage I have fulfilled my responsibilities with commitment and loyalty.” CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi said, “Mr Hari Om Sharma started serving the school at a very young age and contributed to its growth wholeheartedly. He is a stalwart of the institution and has always performed his duties with diligence and confidence. I am of the firm belief that Shri Sharma’s ideas and work efficiency will inspire other staff members too.” CMS Manager Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said, “During his 50 long years of devoted service for the school, Shri Sharma has received many accolades and honours in the world of education and literature, which have brought glory and raised the prestige of the institution. We pray to the Almighty to grant the best of health and happiness to Sharmaji.”

            It may be mentioned that the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, renowned literateur Pandit Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’ has, till date, authored 19 books and his pen is still making waves. His poems, articles and stories have been widely acclaimed in the literary world both in India and abroad. For his literary and journalistic contribution, Pandit Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’ has received many awards, titles and honours. These include Patrakar Gaurav Sammaan, Sagarika Sammaan, Sahitya Manishi Sammaan, Sahitya Saagar Sammaan, Prakriti Ratna Sammaan, Sahitya Ratna Sammaan, ‘Shabdshree’ Sammaan, Saaraswat Sammaan, Sahitya Bhushan Sammaan, Srijan Sammaan, Gulab Rai Sarjana Puraskar by U.P. Hindi Sansthan and others.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
