30-member CMS student delegation leaves for Udaipur and Mount Abu on educational excursion

Lucknow, May 25 : A 30-member delegation of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus comprising 27 students and 3 teachers left for a six-day educational excursion to Udaipur and Mount Abu. The student team is led by Senior teacher Ms Kavita Ahuja Sharma and teachers, Mr BK Singh and Ms Shelly Prakash, as the deputy leaders. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed. Mr Sharma said that during this educational tour, CMS students would get a first-hand experience of the vastness and beauty of the most picturesque locations of Mount Abu, Udaipur and Jaipur including Nakki Lake, Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary, Aravalli Hills, Lake Pichola, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, etc. besides observing the historical landmarks, city planning, rock garden, natural beauty, lakes, temples, and shrines. The excursionists will also go for trekking and camping in nearby places. This trip will help increase the knowledge and personality development of the students besides bringing them face to face with the unity in diversity in India.

            Mr Sharma informed that City Montessori School often sends its students on excursions to various parts of India and abroad, especially during vacations. These excursions are meant to enhance their general awareness, and healthy entertainment and develop their global outlook. Mr Sharma said that modern advanced technologies have made the world a global village, thus it has become the need of the hour to make them aware of different cultures, traditions and diverse thoughts.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations.
