12 CMS students selected to the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)

Lucknow, May 15 : Twelve students of City Montessori School, Lucknow have  been selected to the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) this year, bringing laurels to their institution. This is a national level Entrance Test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and undertaken by hundreds of students of Class XII. CMS students  selected to NIFT are  Laghima Pandey, Srishti Gautam, Shloka Shrivastav, Mansi Saxena, Roshani Moolchandani, Mansi Verma,Avishi Yadav, Sakshi Saxena, Akriti Singh, Areeba Ansari, Tanisha Srivastava and Ridhima Singh. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of Ciy Montessori School, Mr Hari Om Sharma. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, congratulated these outstanding CMS students on their selection in this prestigious exam and expressed her gratitude to their parents and teachers for their support and guidance.

            Mr Sharma stated that after selection in NIFT, students may opt for B.Des, and B.FTech courses. Today there are 16 NIFT Institutes in the country offering various attractive courses in Fashion Technology and Design in Chennai, Gandhinagar, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangaluru, Delhi and other major cities. The courses require a lot of imagination and creativity on the part of learners as well as keeping abreast of the latest trends in fashion.  Mr Sharma said that CMS encourages its students to try their hand in different spheres of knowledge and creativity and excel in every field. It is due to the encouragement and training provided here that a large number of students get selected in various national competitive exams each year.

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations.
