Foundation of a Good and Humane Society is laid in school — Mr Avanish Kumar Singh, Deputy Registrar


 

Lucknow, February 28: City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II organized its grand Divine Education Conference today in the school's auditorium. Chief Guest of the function, Mr Avanish Kumar Singh, Deputy Registrar, Firms, Societies and Chits, UP, while addressing the huge gathering of parents on this occasion, said that the foundation of a good and humane society is laid in school itself because the school environment has a deep impact on children. He praised the items presented by the school children wholeheartedly saying that CMS students are not only excellent in their  studies but are also talented in music, dance, painting and drama. He advised the students to compete with themselves and not with others.

            Earlier, the function began with lighting the lamp ceremony. Speaking on this occasion, CMS President and Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that in this era of globalization, it is the need of the hour to build a global viewpoint in the minds of the students. It is this future generation which will bring about changes and establish a world community based upon unity, peace and harmony with its visionary approach and intelligence. On this occasion, students of Pre-Primary and Primary- Classes I and II presented a wonderful programme full of devotional songs, music, skits and graceful dances.. Senior Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II, Ms Manjit Batra said on this occasion that CMS has taken upon its shoulders the responsibility to prepare students as 'Total Quality Persons' but this is feasible only with the continued cooperation of parents and guardians. Principal, Ms Sangeeta Banerjee thanked the parents for their presence at the function and for inspiring the students.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
