Six-Member CMS Students' Delegation to represent India in Japan under Science Exchange Programme


 

Lucknow, 11 January : A six-member students' delegation of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Extension, comprising five students and one teacher, will be visiting Japan to participate in the Sakura Science Exchange Programme being organized by Japan Science & Technology Agency.  Student teams from almost 30 countries of the world will be participating in this international science exchange programme. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that under the aegis of this programme, CMS students will be visiting the best universities and Research Institutes of Japan, attending lectures on the latest advancement in science and technology and witnessing hands-on experiments by top scientists. All the expenses of the visit to Japan i.e. international round-trip air tickets, accommodation, meals and transportation in Japan etc. will be borne by the organizers of the Science Programme. Mr Sharma further informed that Mr Yogendra Pratap Singh, teacher of CMS Gomti Nagar Extension is the leader of the CMS delegation comprising student members Aryan Singh, Shreya, Shubh Mehrotra, Vaibhav Pandey and Vaidehi Mishra.

               Mr Sharma informed that this Science Programme aims at encouraging students' talent and skills in science. This trip will be helpful in developing students' interest in science and preparing upcoming scientists to compete at international level. They will also get an opportunity to share a common platform with the students of different cultures and be acquainted with their lifestyle and language. Mr Sharma said that CMS makes all efforts to give a scientific and global perception to the students. Such events help the children to become top level scientists, innovators, inventors and world leaders.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
