Lucknow, 6 January : Five noted
universities of USA and UK have offered admission to Sanya Verma, a student of
City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus for pursuing higher studies in
Computer Science. Thus, this brilliant student of CMS has raised the name of
Lucknow on the educational map. Sanya has received admission offers from Penn
State University, USA; University of Glasgow, UK; University of Manchester, UK;
Lancaster University, UK and University of Loughborough, UK. She can now pursue
higher education in the university of her choice. Sanya has credited this success to her
teachers in CMS and the conducive environment in school. CMS President, Prof.
Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, congratulated this student and wished her success in her
future endeavours. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations
Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. He added that CMS is also a SAT and
Advanced Placement (AP) exam test center, which enables students of U.P. and
other surrounding states to apply for higher studies in best universities
abroad on generous scholarships.
Mr
Sharma further informed that last year, in 2023, over 100 CMS students had
secured admissions with handsome scholarships in some of the best universities
of USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Germany like Cambridge
University, California Institute of Technology (CalTech), Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University, Cornell University,
Melbourne University, National University of Singapore etc., bringing fame to
the city. He expressed confidence that this year also, a record number of CMS
students will make Lucknow proud by getting selected with scholarships in the
best universities abroad.
