Students display outstanding sports talents at Annual Sports Day of CMS Anand Nagar

Lucknow, December 23 : City Montessori School, Anand Nagar Campus organized its Annual Sports Day Celebrations today with great joy and enthusiasm at the UP Home Guards Ground, Anand Nagar, Lucknow. Chief Guest, Dr Mukesh Kumar Singh, Joint Director, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, UP, unfurled the Sports Flag to inaugurate the Sports Day while Mr Atul Agnihotri, President, Boxing Association of Lucknow and Assistant Commandant, PAC, Sitapur, graced the occasion as Special Guest of Honour. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, the Chief Guest, Dr Mukesh Kumar Singh said that winning or losing doesn't matter, what matters is playing with sportsmanship. Those who excel in sports excel in life also. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said on the occasion that our tiny-tots have immense potential. He expressed hope that the new generation will bring a new revolution in the world who will succeed in binding the entire humanity with a cord of unity.

            The programme began with All Religion and World Peace Prayer through which the students sent the message of World Unity and World Peace to all corners of the world. Thereafter, today's competitions and the children got engaged in a tough tussle for winning the largest number of medals in different contests. Students showcased their sports talents in Obstacle Race, Ready to School Race, Net race, Walk on Paper Race, Hurdle Race, Ball Balance race, One Leg race, Football rolling race, Hoopla single race, Hoopla Double race, Walkathon, Karate Drill, Pyramid etc. Besides, 50m, 100, 200m, 400m, 800m and 4x100 m races for students, 100m and 200m races for mothers and fathers, musical chairs for grandparents and many other interesting games left the audience awe-struck and earned great applause from them. Earlier, the students displayed eye-catching views of the wonderful March Past and Cross March Past spreading the message of India Fit and Young. Winners were honoured with certificates, medals and shields.

            On this occasion, Principal of CMS Anand Nagar Campus, Ms. Reena Soti said that CMS tries to make its students Total Quality Persons by imbibing in them moral values and developing their global outlook so that they become the true citizens of not just their own country but of the world.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
