Two CMS students selected in National Defence Academy

Lucknow, 29 October : Two outstanding students of City Montessori School (CMS) have brought glory to the city of Lucknow by getting final selection in the coveted National Defence Academy (NDA) conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). These CMS students are Satvik Verma of Mahanagar Campus and Yashvardhan Singh of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II. After qualifying in the written examination conducted by UPSC, they cleared the final stages of the tough selection process including interview, group testing, officer task, psychological test, physical and social ability tests, medical test etc. and became eligible for Commission as Lieutenants in the Indian army after their training in the NDA. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi expressed happiness on the success of these students and wished them well in their future endeavours. This information was given by Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer, CMS. Shri Sharma further stated that these students have given credit for their success to their parents, teachers and the motivational environment as well as all round personality development at CMS.

            Mr Sharma stated that the entire CMS fraternity feels proud of CMS students' commitment to serve the country by joining the Armed Forces.  It is a matter of great pride that a number of CMS students qualify in different prestigious examinations and raise the school flag high. CMS continuously encourages its students to aim high towards excellence and hit their targets accurately and with confidence. As a result, CMS students are continuously bringing glory to the institution.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations.
