CMS students are endowed with multi-faceted talent — Dr Purnima Pandey, Ex-Vice Chancellor, Bhatkhande Sangeet Sansthan

Lucknow, October 21: City Montessori School, Chowk Campus organized Grand Annual Parents and Grandparents Day celebrations today at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. The function was ceremoniously inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr Purnima Pandey, former Vice Chancellor, Bhatkhande Sangeet Sansthan (Deemed University) by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the large gathering on this occasion, Dr Pandey said that CMS students have tremendous talent. Unity in family creates an atmosphere of unity in society. It is necessary for the younger generation to recognize the importance of elderly people in the family and give them due respect. She profusely praised the efforts of CMS to impart quality education to the students.The programme commenced with a wonderful presentation of 'School Prayer' followed by All Religion and World Peace Prayer filling the entire atmosphere with spiritual bliss. The wonderful presentation of 'World Parliament' was also appreciated by one and all.

            Addressing the gathering of parents on this occasion, CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that CMS is committed to making its students Total Quality Persons by providing them with moral and spiritual education apart from knowledge of subjects. He encouraged the parents to be committed for character building and moral and divine upliftment of the younger generation. Principal of CMS Chowk Campus, Mrs Aditi Sharma extended heartfelt thanks to parents saying that the aim of CMS to make each child good and smart can only be attained with the cooperation of parents.

Advik of CMS bags two gold medals in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II,  brought name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000 athletes from across the country participated. Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
