CMS student bags gold medal in International Mental Mathematics Olympiad

Lucknow, October 19 : Samarth Tayal, a talented Class VIII student of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I secured a gold medal in International Mental Mathematics Olympiad bringing fame to the city of Lucknow. The Olympiad was held under the Centre for Research and Examination in Science and Technology in which students from India and abroad participated. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi wished Samarth a very bright future ahead. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma informed that in this prestigious Olympiad, Samarth very ably displayed his logical skills, aptitude and ability to perform mathematical operations with rapidity without the use of calculator and many other functions showcasing great potential for bringing name and fame to the country in the near future. The organizers profusely praised his multi-sided talents rewarding him with a gold medal, certificate and other attractive gifts.

            Mr Sharma informed that the competition aimed at enabling students focus on their mental capability, finding quick solutions to the problems and learning to develop mental power. CMS motivates its students to participate in maths, science, general knowledge and other competitions. This is one reason why CMS students leave the imprints of their knowledge in various creative and innovative competitions and raise the school flag high.

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
