Students from India and abroad display their talents in Choir, Choreography and Art & Painting contests

Lucknow, 17 August : On the 2nd day of 4-day International Cultural Festival 'Celesta International-2023' organized by City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium, the participating students from USA, Bangladesh, Nepal and various states of India displayed such outstanding musical ability that the entire hall reverberated with their combined energy and musical orchestra. While on the one hand, the participants of Celesta International painted the canvas in the Art & Painting competition, on the other hand, they displayed their patriotism, singing talents and creativity in Choir and Choreography competitions held today. It may be mentioned that Celesta International-2023 is being organized from 16 to 19 August in which over 500 students from India and abroad are participating and displaying their talents through different contests based on music, dance and fine arts.

            The competitions at Celesta International-2023 began today with the Choir contest which comprised 41 teams of USA, Bangladesh, Nepal and various states of India all eager to showcase their music skills. Each team comprised a total of 10 members including six students who sang on stage supported by musical instruments in the background. The theme of the contest was - Peace, Universal Brotherhood or Patriotism. The participants displayed tremendous singing ability mesmerizing one and all. Some of the songs were 'Vande Matram', 'Dharti, Ambar, Parvat, Nadiya', 'Ai Vatan Tu Hi Meri Jaan', 'Together We Say We All Are One', 'Anekta Mein Ekta Hind Ki Visheshta' etc. which disseminated the feeling of brotherhood and patriotism. The creative abilities of student participants from India and abroad were put up to display in the Art and Painting competition. The students' emotions, sentiments and thoughts were poured out on paper in a very creative and colourful way imparting the message of climate change and the need to save Mother Earth from destruction by sustainable development, much to the delight of the spectators. Around 47 teams participated in this contest and produced their piece of art in two hours time on the topic 'Climate Action'.

            As the day rolled on, the Choreography competition was held in the afternoon session. It provided a wonderful fusion of dance and drama with music overflowing. As many as 40 enthusiastic teams jumped into the fray, sparkling with the colours of the rainbow and highlighting the theme, 'Gender Equality', with great aplomb. In this competition, the students highlighted the importance of gender equality in the present times. Nature has given equal place to all men and women. The beautiful presentation, costumes and gestures of the participating teams from India and abroad mesmerized the audience.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
