Government of India awards 96 lakh scholarship to 24 CMS students

Lucknow, August 27 : Twenty four brilliant students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded scholarship worth Rs 96 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. These students have been offered this scholarship to pursue higher education in Sciences under which each student will receive Rs. 80,000 per year for five years. Thus, a total of Rs. Four lakhs scholarship has been given to each student, totalling Rs. 96 lakhs to all the 24 students. They have secured this prestigious scholarship by figuring in the top 1% in the merit list nationally on the basis of their ISC (Class 12) results in this year's board examination.  CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated all the students for their outstanding achievement and wished them success in all their future endeavours.

            Those students of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I who have been awarded Government of India scholarships are Bhavisha Tekchandani, Vaishnavi Srivastava,  Tanishq Sonkar,  Soumil Gupta,  Shubh Verma,  Shrey Gupta,  Md Talha,  Shlok Gupta,  Shankarshan Rastogi,  Sakshi Mishra,  Ruchir Sharma,  Naina Upadhyay,  Sharanya Karoli,  Divyansh Rastogi, Aarush Arora,  Ayush Kukriti,  Anant Tripathi, Akshat Kumar,  Aiza Siddiqui,  Kastoori Nigam,  Yatharth Vansh,  Farzaan Ahmad,  Yashi Srivastava and Rohan Sharma. They have credited their parents, teachers and the study environment in their school for their outstanding achievement.

Advik of CMS bags two gold medals in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II,  brought name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000 athletes from across the country participated. Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
