Lucknow, 25 July : A twelve-member
students’ team of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I left for Noida
to participate in World Robotics Championship-2023 being held there. This
Robotics Championship is being organized under the joint aegis of the Ministry
of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India and All India Council for
Robotics and Automation from 25 to 27 July at Noida Indoor Stadium. This
information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of City Montessori
School, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that over 3000 students’ teams
from 32 countries of the world are participating in the World Robotics
Championship. The CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I team which left for Noida comprises
the student members Aryan Abhay Verma, Vyom Ahuja, Shresth Verma, Vikrant
Singh, Yash Gupta, Vansh Kumar, Arnav Jain, Ansh Srivastava, Ayan Ahmad and
Prakhar Gupta, led by their teacher Mr Atul Tiwari as team leader and Mr Amresh
Sharma as helper teacher. Competitions at the
Robotics Olympiad include Robo Soccer, Robo Race, Bots Combat, Maze Solver,
Drone Race, RC Plane, Water Rocket, Fastest Line Follower etc. Through these
competitive events, the students will display their hidden talents in robotics,
scientific acumen and creative energy. The CMS students are full of enthusiasm
and eagerness to participate and showcase their talent by displaying their
self-made robots and compete with the best brains in the student community of
the world. The Olympiad will also encourage the rich exchange of thoughts and
innovative ideas which will be of great benefit to the scientific world.
Lucknow, 16 October : A new State-of-the Art Robotics Lab has been set up at City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus. CMS President and MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon inaugurated this newly created robotics lab this morning at CMS Mahanagar Campus in an enthusiastic and joyful atmosphere. On this occasion, CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi, Principals of various CMS campuses, teachers, students and parents registered their enthusiastic presence and appreciated CMS efforts to provide practical knowledge of modern science and technology to the students. Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon also surveyed the newly constructed Robotics Lab and interacted with the students.
