CMS students to leave for England to participate in Children s International Camp

Lucknow, 3 July : A five member delegation of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I will be shortly leaving for England to participate in the Children's International Summer Village Camp (CISV). The delegation comprises four students and one teacher. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that the student members of delegation are Tavisha Singh, Adhiraj Awasthi, Nallajarla Manjushree and Atharva Singhal led by Mrs Meenu Sharma, teacher of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I. This international camp is being organized under the aegis of Children's International Summer Villages (CISV), England in which several students' delegations from different countries comprising four children each upto 11 to 12 years of age are participating. Junior Counsellors of 15 to 17 years of age will also be joining this camp to maintain orderliness and act as the intermediaries between the adults and the children of various countries. This month-long International Children's Camp will be held in London wherein host staff and leaders comprehensively plan activities to inspire and urge the participants to strive for  peaceful world.

            Mr Sharma informed that CMS sends its students to CISV camps to give them a global platform which will help bridge cultural gaps and facilitate a broader understanding in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual setting. The camp also helps in inculcating in them a feeling of oneness and a rich interaction with various countries through cross-border friendships. During the International Children's Camp of UK, children will be provided with international level facilities of food, stay, games, tour to historical places and medical assistance etc.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum. New State-of-the-Art Robotics Lab inaugurated at CMS

Lucknow, 16 October : A new State-of-the Art Robotics Lab has been set up at City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus. CMS President and MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon inaugurated this newly created robotics lab this morning at CMS Mahanagar Campus in an enthusiastic and joyful atmosphere. On this occasion, CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi, Principals of various CMS campuses, teachers, students and parents registered their enthusiastic presence and appreciated CMS efforts to provide practical knowledge of modern science and technology to the students.
