CMS students grab 2 gold medals with total tally of 4 medals in Skating Championship

Lucknow, 29 July : Arnav and Vansh Rawat, two talented students of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus brought kudos to the school by winning two Gold Medals and overall four medals at the Promotional Skating Championship-2023 organized under the aegis of Uttar Pradesh Roller Sports Association. Proving his class, Arnav of CMS Station Road Campus, bagged one Gold and one Silver Medals. Similarly, Vansh also bagged a Gold and a Bronze Medal, skating away to glory. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that several young students from various schools of Lucknow showcased their sporting skills at the competition, among which the ace skaters of CMS bagged overall four medals by dint of their prowess, balancing skills, stable mind and lightning quickness. During the competition, control over rollers, speed, mental stability, alertness and intelligence of CMS students was worth watching. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi wished both these students good luck for bright future.

            Mr Sharma further stated that CMS promotes sports and other extra-curricular activities besides imparting quality education to its students because academics and sports both are necessary for the holistic progress of students, CMS believes. Therefore, CMS encourages its students to participate in various competitions which help them shine nationally and internationally.

Advik of CMS bags two gold medals in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II,  brought name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000 athletes from across the country participated.
