CMS is instilling ideas of Peace and Unity in young minds— Mr Danish Azad Ansari, Minister of StateUP

Lucknow, 14 July : Three-day International Interfaith Conference organised by City Montessori School, Asharfabad Campus was inaugurated this evening in a grand way at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. The conference was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr Danish Azad Ansari, Minister of State, Minority Affairs, UP. In his address delivered on the occasion, Chief Guest, Mr Danish Azad Ansari said that through this conference based on the theme 'Unity of thoughts among religions, for a better world,' CMS is awakening the society, especially the youth about the importance of unity and peace. He said that the efforts of the school in spreading the ideas of unity and brotherhood deserve great appreciation. At the glittering inaugural ceremony, CMS students presented a wide array of cultural items based on religious unity which won the hearts of the viewers.

               It is worth mentioning here that International Interfaith Conference is being organized from 14 to 16 July at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium wherein religious scholars, thinkers, visionaries, academics and social activists from India and abroad are participating. The theme of the Conference is 'Unity of thought among Religions, for a better world'. This three-day program is mainly divided into seven-panel discussions where the contributions of religions towards the discourses on climate change, justice, education, and the role of media and technology will be explored from a variety of points of view.Welcoming the eminent scholars and thinkers on this occasion, CMS Founder and Baha'i follower, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that education remains incomplete without religion because it teaches us values in life and leads to our spiritual progress. Therefore it is essential for us to learn about tolerance among various religions. It is with this aim that this international conference has been organized. CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that religion has a powerful hold on the human heart, and if its power to inspire can be tapped for positive causes, it can benefit humankind tremendously.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. A major highlight of the day was the final round of Number Ninja (Maths Games) contest. C

CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music. Mr Sharma further said that such celebrations are extremely beneficial for students as they encourage young talent to come forward and make their mark at the national and international level and CMS is constantly encouraging its students to participate in competitions of music, dance and sports leading to their all-round personality development.
