Over one lakh children have benefitted by viewing

Lucknow, April 18 : The nine-day 12th International Children's Film Festival (ICFF-2023) organized by City Montessori School at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium concluded here today. A grand closing ceremony was held which was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Upendra Rai, Chairman and MD, Editor-in-Chief, Bharat Express, News Network, by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Shri Upendra Rai expressed his happiness and said that CMS organizes this children's film festival for imparting good human values which lead to character development and wholesome development of the children. I congratulate CMS for this commendable work, he said. On this occasion, Senior journalists Shri Swatantra Mishra, Shri Manoj Tomer, Shri Vikas Shukla and Shri Sushil Tiwari graced the function by their benign presence.  Apart from these, Singer Shri Vivek Prakash, Actress Ms Renita Kapoor, Theatre Artiste and Actor, Mr Anil Rastogi, TV actress Ms Tulika Banerjee, Convener of Beti Bacho-Beti Padhao programme, Ms Aparna Mishra and Film-maker Shri Diwakar Bhattacharya entertained the audience, added sparkle to the festival and motivated the students to see good children’s films. Today, over 12,000 students enjoyed educational children's films whereas over one lakh students of the city and nearby areas enjoyed more than 600 educative children's films  from 104 countries over 9 days of the festival and demonstrated eagerness to learn good moral and social values through the films.

            Singer Shri Vivek Prakash, Actress Ms Renita Kapoor and Theatre Artiste and Actor, Mr Anil Rastogi interacted with the journalists at a press conference today. Addressing the journalists, Shri Vivek Prakash said that CMS was truly innovative in its approach of teaching and films are one of the most powerful and creative audio-visual mediums to communicate and inculcate character building qualities in youth and children.  Actress Ms Renita Kapoor expressed the hope that children had learnt many good things through these films. Mr Anil Rastogi opined that this children's film festival will definitely take humanity on the path of progress.CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi, said that this film festival had gained tremendous support of students, youth, teachers and parents and he extended his heartiest gratitude to the people of Lucknow for making the festival a grand success.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
