Best Children's Films awarded cash prizes of Rs. 10 Lakh at International Childrens Film Festival 2023

Lucknow, April 16 : On the 7th day of ongoing 9-day 12th International Children's Film Festival (ICFF-2023), the best children's films from around the globe were awarded cash prize  of Rs. 10 lakhs. The children's films were awarded  under different categories.  The selection of best children's film was done by an international jury comprising Ms Ibolya Feketa from Iran, Mr Hamed soleimanzadeh from Iran, Ms Rajni basumatary, Mr Abhijeet Ranadive and Ms Anupama Subramaniam from India. Apart from this, three CMS students namely  Ms Kashvi Paul, Ms Jiya Singh and Master Shreyansh Shukla was the child members of the jury. Ahead of this, the Chief Guest, Shri Manish Chandra Pandey, Senior Journalist, inaugurated the 7th day of ICFF-2023 by lighting the lamp. On this occasion, the presence of Actress Anu Aggarwal and Actor Japtej Singh added an extra sparkle to the show, who motived the students to see good films.

            The 'Best Feature Fiction Film award' went to the Iranian film 'Singo'. The director of the film was awarded a Golden trophy and certificate and a handsome prize money of
Rs. 2,50,000/- that was shared equally between the Director and the Producer. 'Best Feature Animation Film Award' went to the Iranian film 'Dolphin Boy'. The director of the film was awarded a Golden trophy and certificate and prize money of Rs. 2,50,000/-  that was shared equally between the Director and the Producer. The 'Best Short Fiction Film Award' went to Indian film 'A Student'. Director of this film was awarded a Silver trophy with cash prize of
Rs. 85,000/- and the Producer was awarded cash prize of Rs. 65,000/-. The Best Short Animation Film Award went to Taiwanese film 'Distance'. The Director of this film was awarded a Silver trophy with a cash prize of Rs. 85,000/- and the Producer was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 65,000/-. Similarly, the 'Best Short Documentary Film Award' went to Kyrgyzstanis documentary 'Lust for Life'. The director was awarded a silver trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 60,000/- and the producer awarded a certificate and cash prize of Rs. 40,000/-. Short fiction film 'A Scarecrow' was awarded the most prestigious 'Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr Bharti Gandhi Special Jury Award'. Director and Producer of this film were also awarded cash prizes of Rs. 60,000/- and Rs. 40,000/- respectively.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
