Value-based education necessary for all-round development of students — Dr Jagdish Gandhi,

Lucknow: March 4 : Addressing the 'Divine Education Conference' of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I at CMS Gomti Nagar Extension auditorium, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that value-based education is the guiding light for students throughout their lives. If we sow the seeds of mercy, forgiveness, truthfulness, hard work and humility in children in their childhood, then they will grow up to become ideal citizens of society. He emphasized that thoughts of respect for all religions, social unity and world unity must be instilled in young minds from the very beginning. He appealed to the parents to provide a devotional and reverential atmosphere at home.

            The Divine Education Conference began with the All Religion Prayer and World Peace Prayer. On this occasion, students of the school showcased their talents through music and dance. They presented meaningful talks on values, global thinking, serving the entire humanity and excellence in everything and pledged to follow the path of self-discipline, dutifulness, sense of cooperation, world peace and world unity. The occasion became even more joyous with the jubilant faces of the prize-winners in the Annual Examination along with those who had brought name and fame to the school by winning prizes in various competitive events, cultural activities and sports etc.

            In her address, the Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Mrs Abha Anant thanked the parents for their constant support saying that children are gifts of God to mankind. It is our sincere endeavour to make each child realize his or her maximum potential and become a light of the world.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
