Schools must impart spiritual and moral education to students along with material education — Dr Jagdish Gandhi

Lucknow, March 19 : Spiritual and Moral education along with material education,  should also be imparted to the future generation in schools, only then there can be all-round development of the students and they will become the light of the society. These thoughts were expressed by the CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi while addressing the gathering of parents at the Divine Education Conferece organized by City Montessori School, Golf City Campus at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium. Further, Dr Gandhi said that a student must receive material, human and divine education to become a Total Quality Person and it is these persons who will take the society towards progress. A modern school has a tremendous social responsibility on its shoulders. It aims at making every child both in wardly good and outwardly smart and peaceful. Peaceful and divine atmosphere at home and school is very essential for holistic development of a child. Earlier, Dr Gandhi  inaugurated the Divine Education Conference by lighting the lamp of learning while CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon graced the occasion by her benign presence.

             At the Divine Education Conference, the meritorious students of the school, who had won prizes in various competitive examinations, cultural programmes, sports competitions and performed excellently in the annual examinations were awarded prizes amidst scintillating educational-cultural items. The programme began with melodious presentations of School Prayer, All Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer. On this occasion, students presented a series of educational-cultural items including aerobics, qawwali, rhymes, choreography mesmerizing one and all. At the end, Principal of CMS Golf City Campus, Ms Reema Sethi while expressing heartfelt thanks to parents, said that CMS is committed to imparting material, human and divine education to its students to nurture them as good and smart citizens, a gift of God to humanity and Total Quality Persons.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
