March 20 : City Montessori School, Chowk Campus organized a grand Meritorious
Students Felicitation Function at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium here today. The
award function was inaugurated by CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr
Jagdish Gandhi. In his inaugural address, Dr Gandhi said that students of today
are the leaders of tomorrow and the future of the world. It is our duty to
impart three kinds of education - material, human and divine to give a bright
future to these children. For this work, the school, parents and society must
come together and fulfill their duties.
On
this occasion, the students of the school presented beautiful cultural
items that parents were thrilled to
watch and the auditorium resounded with thunderous clapping of the audience.
The songs of peace, love and unity presented by students filled the atmosphere
with divinity. The children also highlighted the universal values, global
understanding, excellence in all things and service to the world which the
institution stands for. On this occasion, the students from classes III to
XI, who had won prizes in various competitive examinations, cultural
programmes, sports competitions and performed excellently in the annual
examinations were awarded prizes. Principal of CMS Chowk Campus, Mrs Aditi
Sharma expressed heartfelt gratitude towards parents and guardians at the end
of the function.
