CMS students team bags WIPRO Earthian Award

Lucknow, 10 March : Students' team of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Extension has been honoured with the coveted 'WIPRO Earthian Award' for its excellent work on the theme 'Sustainability and Waste', bringing name and fame to Lucknow in the whole country. For this prestigious award, CMS team was shortlisted among approximately 1200 institutions across the country. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. He added that at a glittering award ceremony organized under the aegis of Wipro company, CMS students and their teacher Ms Kavita Sharan Shahi were awarded a trophy, citation and a cash prize of Rs. fifty thousand. The students of the winning team of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II comprise Kriti Patel, Anushmita Rathour, Akshita Gupta, Paavi Bhardwaj and Rashmi Sharma. These students did their research work under the guidance of their teacher Ms Kavita Sharan Shahi on Sustainability and Waste and spread awareness for water conservation, biodiversity and waste management. They were motivated to practise 'Recycle, Reuse and Reduce Pollution'.

            CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi, expressing happiness over this achievement, said that the credit for this success goes entirely to the dedicated teachers and talented students of school, whose dedication and hard work has raised the school's flag high on national front. During 64 years of academic journey, CMS has established various landmarks owing to its committed teachers, making not only the people of Lucknow but rather the entire state feel proud of them.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
