City girl wins two golds in National Dance championship


 

Lucknow, February 18:  Sreeyashee Vishwakarma, a class VII student of City Montessori School, RDSO Campus brought glory to the city by winning two gold medals at the 8th Battle Sports Dance National Championship at Mumbai. She represented Uttar Pradesh in this All-India Dance championship which was organized by Battle Sport Dance Federation of India. Sreeyashi participated in two categories viz Modern mixture and folk dance and won Gold in both. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated Sreeyashee on her outstanding achievement and wished her a very bright future ahead. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. He added that students from 14 states of India viz Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu etc. participated and showcased their dancing talent in this prestigious event, however, in the midst of a tough competition, Sreeyashi emerged as the winner in above two categories. The organizers of the event while applauding her talent awarded her a certificate, medal and trophy. Mr Sharma further informed that earlier, Shriyashi won silver and gold medals at the district and state level competitions respectively and qualified  to represent Uttar Pradesh in the All India Competition.

             Mr Sharma informed that CMS not only teaches material, human and divine education to its students, it also encourages to develop their hobbies and field of interests. Therefore, CMS students not only excel in academics, but they are also excelling on the national and international stage in music-dance, literature and art championships. CMS aims at nurturing world leaders by imparting quality education to them to enable them lead the world with their broadened humanistic approach.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations.
