Young delegates of 9 countries return home with message of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam

Lucknow, January 19 : The young delegates of 9 countries viz Brazil, Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mongolia, Maxico, Sweden and India participating in the International Children's Camp hosted by City Montessori School, left for their respective countries after three weeks stay here in Lucknow carrying the message of 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam' and the sweet memories of camp life. During their three weeks’ stay at the International Children's Camp, these young children learnt about universal values like cooperation, friendship, global understanding, brotherhood, love and peace and order and also got acquainted with the Indian philosophy, Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam, besides experiencing the everlasting concept of our unique culture and customs that will remain with them throughout their life.

            At the closing of International Children's Camp, the CMS Founder, renowned educationist and President of International Children's Camp (India Chapter), Dr Jagdish Gandhi bid a warm and hearty farewell to the young participants. On this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that these young children from various countries experienced the cross-cultural friendships spreading the message that the 'World is One Family'. He hoped that these young ambassadors of unity and peace will disseminate the feelings of love, cooperation, friendship, understanding and brotherhood across the globe which they have learnt here in this International Camp.

Advik of CMS bags two gold medals in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II,  brought name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000 athletes from across the country participated.
