CMS student conferred the prestigious Sir J.C. Bose Puppetry Film Award

Lucknow, 1 January : Arush Mishra, a class VI student of Cambridge section of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I represented Uttar Pradesh in the International Puppetry Film Festival and won first prize for best puppetry film on Science. He was conferred the prestigious Sir J.C. Bose Puppetry Film Award for his outstanding film and also nominated for the Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Student Scientist Innovation Award 2023. Several noted scientists and scholars including ISRO PRL Ahmedabad scientist, Dr Prabhakar Sharma and Chairman of National Council of Research Teacher Scientist India, Mr Anjin banik were present on this occasion. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated Arush for his outstanding achievement and wished him success in all his future endeavours. This information was given by Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma.

            Shri Sharma informed that the students had to produce puppetry films on either Mathematics or Science, wherein Arush’s puppetry film, ‘Aurora’ won the first prize. Through his film, Aarush not only demonstrated his knowledge of Science, skills and ideas, but also gave a strong message to use science for the betterment of humanity. Of all the entries received for the competition, the puppet film produced by this CMS student received maximum appreciation and his creative thinking and skills were applauded by the jury members. Mr Sharma said that CMS always encourages its students to hone their talents by participating in various creative and innovative competitions. This is the reason, CMS students scaling new heights in academics and other fields as well.

Advik of CMS bags two gold medals in National Taekwondo Championship

Lucknow, 11 October : Advik Sharma, a talented Class IV student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II,  brought name and fame to the city by bagging two Gold medals in Open National Taekwondo Championship held at Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida. This championship was organized under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India in which over 5000 athletes from across the country participated. Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
