Students splash rainbow-coloured talents in Rangoli, Model Making, Quiz, and Choreography contests


 

Lucknow, December 13 : The participants that came from Nepal and various states of India to explore their artistic and musical abilities at the four-day International Sports, Art, and Music competition 'SAM 2022', poured in their multifaceted talents on the third day of the event. The teams seemed very curious and enthusiastic to fetch creative transformation in society through their skills. They spread the messages of world unity, world peace, and global fraternity while competing in contests, rangoli, model making, quiz, and choreography.           Today the contests started with the final round of the SAM Quizzers (Quiz) competition for the senior category. Questions for this competition ranged from sports, arts, and music to general awareness. Eight teams had qualified from the preliminary round to contest this final round. The most interesting part of this competition was the audio-visual round, and the audience clapped loudly to support them. SAM Floor Fusionist (Rangoli) competition for the junior category was captivating. All the participating teams of this event spread the sentiments of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam (world but one family) in their presentations.

            The SAM Sculptors (3D Model Making) competition was very attractive as the teams made wonderful models containing messages of unity, peace, and cordiality. This competition was organized on the theme 'Equation for Collaboration'. SAM Marionette Magicians (Choreography) competition kept the audience glued to their seats as the participants of the event showed themselves as human puppets posing and narrating an inspirational story of any sports icon. The theme of the contest was 'Hallmarks of Sports - Discipline, Dedication, and Devotion'. The audience was ecstatic seeing the outpour of talent. Today a non-competitive event SAM Conclave, on the theme ‘Environment – The Arena for Future Peace Makers’ was for the junior students, and in the evening, ‘Fun Carnival’ was organised.

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
