Grand inauguration of International Football Tournament Concord-2022 at CMS

Lucknow, 18 December : The five-day International Football Tournament 'Concord-2022,' being organized by City Montessori School, Station Road Campus, was inaugurated with great verve and splendour here today at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Songs of World Unity and World Peace rent the air while the presence of bubbling, young footballers from Nepal, Bangladesh and various states of India, made the atmosphere jubilant and inviting. Chief Guest, Shri Vipin Sharma, Director, RPS International School, Gurgaon, inaugurated this mega event by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Shri Sharma said that such Sports tournaments besides promoting discipline, team spirit and good sportsmanship, also promote unity and peace. These are the qualities of a good player and it is also these qualities which make a person an ideal citizen of society. He congratulated City Montessori School for organizing such a mega sports event.  It is worth mentioning here that Concord-2022 is being organized from 18 to 22 December in which student teams from Nepal, Bangladesh and various states of India are participating.

            Earlier, the opening ceremony of Concord-2022 began with the All Religion and World Peace Prayer. Holding flags of various countries, CMS students marched ahead, with the message 'May Peace Prevail on Earth!’ The students presented various cultural items displaying the rich diversity of Indian culture. On this occasion, Founder-Director of CMS and renowned educationist, Dr Bharti Gandhi said that this sport event will not only give opportunity to young players to test their football skills rather it would spread the qualities of self-sacrifice, team spirit, good sportsmanship and brotherhood. Convenor of Concord-2022 and the Principal of CMS Station Road Campus, Mrs Deepali Gautam conveyed her best wishes to the young players and said that they will not only showcase their sports talent in this tournament but also increase the pride of Lucknow on the world map.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
