10 December : Two students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II, Sheikh
Sara Ahmed Istiyaq and Sheikh Nabeeza Ahmed Istiyaq brought laurels to the
institution by winning three gold medals in U.P. State Kung Fu Championship
organized by Lucknow Kung Fu Association. Sheikh Sara won the gold in Taolu event in sub-junior
category while Sheikh Nabeeza earned two gold medals in Taulo and Sanda events
held under the junior category. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi wished both the
students success in all future endeavours while congratulating them on their
achievement. This information was given by Shri Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public
Relations Officer of CMS. Shri Sharma informed that amidst the tough
competition among the students of various noted schools, these talented girl
students brought home an impressive haul of three gold medals on the basis of
their sporting talent, agility, skill and stamina in Martial Arts.
Lucknow, December 19 : The five-day International Sports, Arts, and Music Competition (SAM-2024), organized jointly by City Montessori School, Indira Nagar Campus II and Ayodhya Road Campus, was inaugurated with grandeur today at the CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. The Chief Guest, Dr. Ratan Kumar, Dean and Principal, College of Arts and Crafts, Lucknow University, formally inaugurated SAM-2024 by lighting the ceremonial lamp. On this occasion, CMS students presented a vibrant array of educational and cultural programs in honour of the participating students and team leaders of various countries. It is worth mentioning here that SAM-2024 is being organized from 19 to 23 December at the CMS Kanpur Road auditorium, in which student teams from various noted schools of Nepal, Sri Lanka and various states of India are participating.
