CMS student wins first prize in essay writing contest

Lucknow, December 20 : Unnati Gupta, a meritorious class XI student of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus won first prize in inter-school essay writing contest and brought fame for the institution. This essay contest was organized by Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR), Lucknow. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that students from several noted schools of city participated in this prestigious contest. Amidst the tough contest, this talented student of CMS Chowk Campus presented remarkable thoughts through her essay on environment highlighting the importance of environmental conservation and won the first prize. Judges of the contest wholeheartdly praised her humane and global outlook. Organizers of the contest, awarded this first prize winner with Certificate of Appreciation and a cash prize of Rs. 1000/- and wished her a bright future ahead.

        Mr Sharma said that CMS students excel not just in academics but also are at the forefront in various social activities. Because of their sensitised thought process, they bring laurels to the institution using their creativity and by participating in innovative competitions.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
