Students win hearts of parents with an extraordinary display of talents

Lucknow, 15 October : City Montessori School, Indira Nagar Campus organized a grand 'Parents Day Celebrations' today at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II auditorium. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the function ceremoniously by lighting the lamp of learning. Students presented a number of educational-cultural items, winning the hearts of their parents. Parents were awestruck to see versatile talents of their wards. Grandparents of students were especially invited for this programme. The huge gathering of parents and grandparents was a great source of encouragement for students and they brought them much joy with their splendid performance.

            The programme began with All Religion and World Peace Prayer. The All Religion Prayer filled the hearts with love of God. Carrying the flags of different countries in the World Peace Prayer, the students presented the spirit of 'May Peace Prevail on Earth' in a very powerful and effective way. On this occasion, students of CMS Indira Nagar presented a series of educational-cultural items viz Tiger Moms, Yoga, Qawwali, Percussion, Bhangra etc. They invited the attention of all towards the formation of a 'World Parliament' for fostering respect for and enactment of an international judiciary. Towards the end, the grand finale enthralled the entire audience with a scintillating presentation of the spirit of unity, co-operation and community through an outstanding dance performance.

            Addressing the gathering on this occasion, CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that CMS endeavours to instill in them the ideals of World Unity. He further said that global understanding and such educational programmes will help them in actualizing the dream of World Unity, brotherhood and Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam. Principal of CMS Indira Nagar Campus, Mrs Ruchi Bhuvan Joshi while praised the talents of children said that CMS endeavours to make every child a light of society. She expressed heartfelt gratitude towards parents and grandparents.

CMS Aliganj opens Cambridge section

Lucknow, January 6 : After Gomti Nagar Campus II and Rajajipuram Campus I, City Montessori School has now opened a Cambridge section at its Aliganj Campus I, in which the students will be taught according to the Cambridge curriculum.
