Parents witness unique sports talents among the children

Lucknow, October 22 : The Annual Sports Day of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II was held with great pomp and show at CMS Kanpur Road sports ground today. On this occasion, students of pre-primary, primary and junior sections mesmerized the audience by presenting their extraordinary sports skills and spreading the message of 'India Fit & Young' through physical fitness activities. Earlier, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the Sports Day by unfurling the Sports Flag. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that the playground is the ideal place for students to develop virtues, build a good character and learn the lesson of unity and cooperation. He expressed hope that the new generation will bring a new revolution in the world who will succeed in binding the entire humanity with a cord of unity.

           The programme began with School Prayer, All Religion and World Peace Prayer followed by an eye-catching view of wonderful March Past spreading the message of India Fit and Young. Thereafter, the various competitions commenced and the children got engaged in a tough competition for winning the largest number of medals in different contests. Students showcased their sports talents in Frog Race, Family Relay Race, Yoga, Bucket and Ball Race, Spoon and Lemon Race, Caterpillar Race, 100 m Race, 4×100 m Relay Race and Tug of War and many other interesting games left the audience awe-struck and earned great applauding by them. Winners were honoured with certificates, medals and shields. Principal of CMS Aliganj Campus II, Mrs Samvida Adhikari, while appreciating the talents of students said that such events encourage the students to move forward in life with full confidence and determination. She expressed her gratitude towards all the parents and guardians present on this occasion for inspiring and encouraging the children.

CMS organizes Civil Service Conclave in a grand way

3rd Day of 4-day International Mathematics Olympiad Matheletics 2023

  Lucknow, December 2 : The third day of the International Mathematics Olympiad organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II was full of exciting moments. While on the one hand students excelled in Mathematical Quiz and Puzzle Competition, on the other hand the mathematical games were keenly contested by the eager participants. Students from top public schools of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and various states of India entered into fierce competition, each team trying to outdo the other with superior skill and knowledge.                Competitions at ‘Matheletics 2023’ began in Group C today with the Mathsketeers (Quiz) Contest. The written round was completed today in which the top ten teams were selected for the final round. The written round brought to light the hidden talents in mathematics and tested the logical and numerical ability of the participants of various countries. CMS Girls Brass Band Team wins national honour at National School Band Competition

Lucknow, February 9 : CMS Girls’ Brass Band Team of Kanpur Road Campus brought honour to the city of Lucknow by securing the 2nd prize, the Runners up Trophy at the National School Brass Band Competition. The team was awarded a cash prize of Rs 16000/-, a certificate and a trophy by the organizers. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma stated that this competition was organized as part of the 75th Republic Day Celebrations. Several prestigious schools and colleges from all over the country participated in this tough competition and displayed their skills and talent in music.
