Lucknow, 31 October : City Montessori
School, Rajajipuram Campus I organized 'Parents and Grandparents Evening' today
at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium with great joy and enthusiasm. Earlier, CMS
Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the function
ceremoniously by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering of
parents on this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that the grandparents not only love their grandchildren
but they also inculcate the values of morality and mental strength in them. In
the company of elders, children feel happy and they understand the importance
of family also. Dr Gandhi hoped that such events will develop world unity and
world peace and make the dream of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam come true.
The function commenced with All Religion
and World Peace Prayer that filled the atmosphere with divine presence. The
World Parliament presented by the students drew attention of one and all. On
this occasion, CMS students presented a number of interesting items viz
qawwali, choreography, choir, orchestra, ramp show, lion king and many more
winning the hearts of audience. Mrs Nisha Pandey, Senior Principal of CMS
Rajajipuram Campus I said that whatever values are instilled in childhood,
shape the personality of a person. CMS endeavours to make every child a light
of society. She expressed heartfelt gratitude towards parents for taking
interest in school activities.
